BOULDER

If you were a resident of Kansas in the early 1970s, you might have been fortunate enough to indulge in the musical stylings of BOULDER. The band was a regular fixture in a range of towns spanning Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, and Texas, including Wichita, Topeka, Salina, Denver, Oklahoma City, and Boulder. Originally based in Wichita, the band experienced various lineup changes throughout its existence, ultimately settling on the final group depicted in the accompanying poster. The last members of the group included John Jackson on guitar, Gary Hopper on bass, Jamey Ratzlaff on guitar and synth, and Dave Giddens on drums. The band initially formed under the name Public Secret, but changed it to BOULDER in 1971 when Ratzlaff became a member.
