One More Crazy Night

Arguably the biggest project so far taken on by Ratz Nest Studio was the recording and production of "One More Crazy Night", the one and only album by the short lived group "J-Rat & The Roadn'ts". This group evolved from The New Memphis Croon Dawgs when Doug Smith left the band. This was the first time the studio used a mastering lab, and a disc pressing facility.

Out and About

In Nashville, gigs are hard to find…even free ones.  In fact, The Roadn’ts only played TWO gigs after their original drummer Steve Warfield left, and the new drummer they were breaking in MISSED BOTH !  This video is from their first gig at Richard’s Cajun Seafood Restaurant.

Here’s a little “acoustic” version of the first song on the CD.  This was co-written by my brother-in-law about the Nashville flood of 2010.
