The Incredulous Stooky Brothers

One Night At Shanti's / Brian's Recording

CD

This was a great little acoustic band that played for almost 10 years at Shanti's Seafood Restaurant in Hermitage, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville. The band name that bass player Travis Clark came up with, was a parody of other descriptor names like Famous Flames, Amazing Rhythm Aces, and Fabulous Thunderbirds, and the "brothers" bit was an opportunity for them to all have new names. When other players sat in with the band, they became a part of the "family" and were given Stooky names too. The band loved taking a most unlikely rock hit, and turning it into a bluegrass song, some of which are captured on this double album.
